Technical QA Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: As a Technical QA Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs within your domain. Your work will involve designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products, investigating instances of underperformance, and driving the adoption of best practices. You will collaborate with various teams to raise the standard of quality assurance across the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and frameworks like Cucumber BDD. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to create a comprehensive automation suite. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment. - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies to ensure application reliability. - Participate in code reviews, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports for improvement. - Stay updated with emerging testing technologies to enhance the testing process continuously. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in test automation. - Proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD Cucumber. - Hands-on experience with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and build tools. - Experience in testing RESTful APIs, web services, messaging queues, and streaming platforms. - Familiarity with database testing, BDD/TDD methodologies, and Agile/Scrum environments. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
