Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in the Travel domain to lead and manage end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background, proven experience in handling multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing cross-functional teams effectively. Role & responsibilities.

• Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from requirement gathering to delivery and post-implementation support.
  
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects ensuring quality, scope, timeline, and budget goals are met.
  
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define project scope and deliverables.
  
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of projects with adherence to organizational and client standards.
  
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
  
• Drive project governance and process improvements.
  
• Track team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  
• Leverage domain knowledge in travel systems (GDS, booking engines, APIs, etc.) to guide the technical team.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  

• 812 years of total experience

  minimum 35 years in a Project Manager role

  within the

  Travel IT domain

• Strong understanding of

  travel technologies

  – booking systems, GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo), travel APIs, B2B/B2C portals, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of

  project management methodologies

  (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
• Strong

  technical acumen

  – ability to understand software architecture, integrations, and delivery challenges.
• Proven track record in

  delivering projects on time and within scope

  .
• Excellent

  communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  .
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is a plus.

Preferred candidate profile

  travel technology companies or travel management platforms
