Technical Project Manager - GenAI

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in AI, Generative AI, Data Engineering, Data Analytics to lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of scalable, data-driven, and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Drive end-to-end execution of AI/GenAI, Data Engineering, and Cloud projects.
• Project Tracking & Reporting
• Track progress against KPIs, deliverables, and timelines using project management tools
• Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and executive reports to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; define mitigation plans proactively.
• Stakeholder & Team Management
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and business teams to align priorities and deliver value.
• Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Manage vendor engagements and third-party solution providers, where applicable.
• Technology Leadership
• Apply understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI (LLMs, NLP, Vision, etc.), Data Engineering, and Cloud architectures to guide teams.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, security, compliance, and scalability.
• Promote agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of total experience, with at least 3+ years in project/program management.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML, GenAI, or Data-driven projects on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of:
• AI/ML & GenAI technologies (LLMs, NLP, Generative Models, AI frameworks).
• Data Engineering (ETL pipelines, data lakes, real-time streaming, big data frameworks like Spark).
• Data Analytics & Visualization (BI tools, dashboards, reporting frameworks).
• Cloud Services (compute, storage, containerization, serverless, Kubernetes).
• Excellent project management skills with hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.
