Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities :

• As a Project Manager you will be working in a very challenging and rewarding environment
• As CEs Project Manager you are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects. You will work with teams that are geographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines required to deliver IT solutions for our customers, including architects, business analysts, application engineers, quality assurance & testers.
• You will be responsible for engaging with internal clients to advise and shape projects to meet their needs by properly defining the stakeholders project objectives and mapping requirements appropriately.
• You will map base lined requirements to their respective project objectives, gain stakeholder agreement and align tasks into a manageable work breakdown structure and lead a team to deliver those projects so that they meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
• Successfully executing projects to agreed time, scope, budget and quality including developing objectives and plans to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and timescales.
• Performing the project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management ensuring that the required outcomes are delivered and approved appropriately based upon CE's project management methodology
• Planning for, monitoring and managing change through formal change management processes and stakeholder/customer relationship management including reporting on variances to the approved project baseline and managing the approval or mitigation of these as appropriate
• Managing project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project including performing gate reviews and quality assurance reviews
• Communicating with project teams, management, customers and stakeholders including implementing and working through defined governance processes
• Provide accurate and consistent weekly status reporting for key IT initiatives, deliverables, risk, issues and program financials
• Monitor and manage project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule and managing variances

What we care about

• Overall experience 10-12 years with last 5-6 years on PM role or part of the PMO function
• Experience working as a PM for Fixed Price projects, especially managing Scope, Schedule and Cost at the same time ensuring Quality
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Exposure working along with clients in North America and Europe and managing client expectation, keeping in mind the interests of both parties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development

  (Java / Python Preffered)

• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Prior experience working in a Start-up would be an added advantage

Accountability:

• Reports Directly To: Delivery Head
• Works Directly With: VP Client Services, Product Owners, Chief Product Officer and GTM teams.
• Responsibility: End-to-end delivery of projects. You will work with teams that are geographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines
