Description
As a highly technical program manager at our company, your main responsibility will be to anticipate bottlenecks and make smart trade-offs to ensure timely and successful project deliveries. You will work closely with various engineering teams, data scientists, and decision-makers to maximize functionality, create value, and optimize usability of data delivery and services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Anticipating bottlenecks and making smart trade-offs to ensure timely delivery of projects - Rolling up your sleeves and personally contributing to help teams overcome challenges - Working directly in data management and storage systems such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Teradata - Coordinating across multiple engineering teams to deliver holistic designs - Building prototypes and proofs of concept for data migration, transformation, and reporting - Driving cross-functional programs to optimize performance, cost, and reliability of high-performance data systems - Defining and executing programs delivering data as a product, including writing project charters and program narratives - Working with Product and Engineering teams to manage requirements and timelines - Taking on large, complex projects, breaking them into manageable pieces, and delivering timely results - Creating and maintaining project and program schedules, including tracking metrics - Identifying and communicating with stakeholders across the organization To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of Program Management experience and 3+ years of experience working with data - Demonstrable track record of delivering complex data infrastructure, orchestrations, and reporting tools - Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Smartsheet - Full competency in project management methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall - Basic proficiency in data management and storage systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Teradata - Ability to write queries, test API endpoints, and build dashboards - Ability to understand project design and anticipate dependencies - Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence across the organization - Ability to innovate and deliver value while simplifying scope assumptions within project constraints Join our team and be part of our mission to empower and enable our data community to create value and drive innovation.
