Job Summary:

Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end program delivery of automation equipment projects, from concept to deployment.
• Manage cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and procurement.
• Create detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans; track and report progress.
• Drive the integration of hardware and software components for automation systems (e.g., PLCs, IPCs, motion controllers, sensors, and robotics).
• Act as a key liaison between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep timelines and budgets on track.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Manage stakeholder communication with clear reporting of project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Work with vendors and partners for component sourcing and third-party integration.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• 10 -15 years of experience in automation, robotics, or industrial equipment industry.
• Strong experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi), IPCs, servo systems, HMIs, and industrial sensors.
• Proven program management experience managing cross-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Familiarity with BOMs, system integration, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, or other program management software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, control systems, and automation workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or equivalent program management certification.
• Experience working with SPMs (Special Purpose Machines) or high-mix low-volume automation systems.
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, IIoT, and data integration in automation systems.
