Job Responsibilities: - OTIFQ delivery of experimental plan and technical deliverables, as well as VC deliverables. - Assist in creating and sustaining a competitive advantage against market leaders. - Work on INNOVATION & RENOVATION projects for the organization's plan. - Compliance with global AkzoNobel HSE&S and PS policies and sustainability requirements for NPDs is mandatory. - Develop product know-how and understand customer needs, market insights, and practices. - Act as HSE&S responsible and assist Lab Manager/Steward to ensure and implement safe working conditions consistent with global policies. - Take individual responsibility for planning and conducting experimental work plans for new method development & renovation. - Contribute to testing paint formulations to generate insights. - Assist product owner in providing technical support for customer complaints. - Accurately prepare and record experimental work with clear and concise presentation of key technical data. - Manage lab testing and data representation for projects. - Plan individuals" work schedules based on stipulated timelines. Qualifications Required: - M Sc (Chemistry) from an institute of repute along with 2-3 years of experience. - Innovative work approach with hands-on experience in operating sophisticated analytical equipment. - Expertise in Chromatography & Spectroscopy, correlation with lab test parameters, and excellent analytical ability. - Analytical approach towards interpreting instrumental data, knowledge of wet chemistry & method development. - Good knowledge of Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Paint formulation, sensitivity to HSE&S/sustainability, system orientation, and familiarity with work planning processes. - Desirable: Teamworking skills, workable knowledge of analytical testing. Experience: - Previous experience as an Analytical Scientist with instrumentation & wet analysis. Additional Details: - The incumbent should be around 25-30 years old.
