Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide solutions and bridge the gap between technology and business know-how to deliver any client solution

Primary Skills (Must have):

Hands-on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) migration experience (min 2+ yrs)

Hands-on exp on helm charts

Hands-on exp in Architecting /Executing Java App migration to Azure (preferably AKS)

Secondary Skills (Good to have):

Web Apps

Azure Functions

DevOps

Docker

Git

Experience:

7+ years in relevant fields

Certifications:

AZ-900 certification is a must; higher certifications are preferred but not mandatory

Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead with over 7-8 years of experience across various tech stacks, including OS, platform, database, and middleware.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Act as a technical escalation point for team members working on app migration consulting engagements across different layers of the tech stack. Provide technical direction, identify and implement technical strategies with technical teams.

Cloud Engineering: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including AKS, Azure Functions, and Web Apps. Proven experience in cloud engineering and migration blueprints.

Learning and Adaptability: Quick learner, comfortable with minimal or no instructions, and customer focused.

Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes.

Strategy and Transformation: Experience with strategy roles and driving transformation initiatives. Familiarity with cloud-centric KPIs.

AKS Cluster Architecture: Design, build, and manage high-availability AKS clusters, considering scalability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.

Container Orchestration: Manage container deployments, scaling, and lifecycle management using Kubernetes controllers and tools like Helm charts.

CI/CD Integration: Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines for containerized applications leveraging Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Application Monitoring: Monitor AKS clusters, pods, and application health using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to identify and resolve performance issues.

Performance Optimization: Analyze cluster usage and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of AKS resources

Automation: Develop tools to profile and refactor code, improve and automate processes.

App Refactoring and Migration: Experience working with application refactoring and migration activities. Knowledge of the banking ecosystem is highly preferred.

Collaboration: Work closely with application teams across business functions. Preferably has experience in application lead, developer, or architect roles.
