Technical Lead Set-Top Box (STB) Repair

As a Technical Lead for Set-Top Box (STB) Repair, you will be responsible for leading and supervising STB repair operations to ensure adherence to quality, turnaround time, and cost targets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and supervising STB repair operations - Ensuring adherence to quality, turnaround time, and cost targets - Overseeing troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for hardware and software faults in STBs - Performing advanced repair tasks including BGA rework, soldering, and component-level diagnosis - Managing firmware loading, testing, and software validation procedures - Maintaining repair/test equipment and supporting continuous process improvement - Preparing and presenting technical performance reports to management and clients - Coordinating with cross-functional teams for production, quality assurance, and customer support Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - In-depth knowledge of STB hardware architecture, SMPS, tuners, HDMI, AV, and power circuits - Expertise in soldering, rework, and use of diagnostic/repair instruments - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for RCA - Good understanding of firmware tools and debugging utilities - Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills Qualifications needed for this position: - Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent) - 7-10 years of experience in electronics repair, with at least 3-5 years in STB production or repair management Kindly note that the salary range for this position is 8-10 LPA.,
