Job Description

As an experienced WebLogic Administrator, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to WebLogic Server administration in Linux/Unix environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installation and configuration of WebLogic 11g/12c with multiple domains, including setting up Administration Servers, Managed Servers, Machines, and Node managers in different clusters. - Deploying EJBs, J2EE Applications (EAR, WAR, JAR) in clustered environments, monitoring Application servers, and configuring Web servers. You will troubleshoot performance issues using monitoring tools, log messages, and log files. - Managing administration tasks such as monitoring, maintenance, clustering, application deployment, troubleshooting, load balancing, performance tuning, and maintenance of WebLogic Server. - Troubleshooting issues in Production/QA environments and handling installation/configuration issues. Incident and Problem management following ITIL methodologies will also be part of your responsibilities. - Configuring Clusters, Load-balancing, High availability, fail-over solutions, and Web Server plug-ins for Web Logic application server. - Installing SSL Certificates on Apache web servers and analyzing Thread/JVM Crash data/core dumps for Root Cause Analysis. - Upgrading service packs, installing bug fixes/patches on Web Logic Server, and working with monitoring tools like Splunk and New Relic. Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps tools will be an added advantage. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A B.Tech or equivalent degree in a related field.
