Must-Have Skills: Java Expertise: Strong knowledge of Java 8+ features. Spring Ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA. Microservices: API design, service orchestration, circuit breakers. Messaging Systems: RabbitMQ or Kafka. Databases: Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of NoSQL databases. Testing: Mockito, JUnit, integration testing. Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, or equivalent. Architecture: Hands-on with microservices patterns and scalable designs. Good-to-Have Skills: Frontend Exposure: Angular or React. Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure. DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible. Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK. Linux Expertise: Advanced shell scripting, server management. Performance Tuning: JVM optimization, profiling tools. Banking Domain: Understanding of compliance, security, and transactional systems.
