Technical Interior Designer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Liaise with their team of Interior Designers to gather product and hardware requirements and designs.
• Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials according to the designs.
• Create detailed designs with (CAD) software
• Review/Validate CAD drawings on site along with the production and installation team.
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Create manuals that describe existing modular products’ operation, features and standards.
• Know how to prepare and review a Cutting List suitable for modular production.
  

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Technical Drawings Draftsman position.
• In-depth knowledge in modular standards and Hardware used in projects.
• Familiarity with any production softwares like Infurnia, Naadi, Palette CAD etc.
