Technical Consultant

As a Technical Consultant / Technical Architect with Fund Accounting experience, Oracle, and Informatica skills, your role will involve collaborating with Delivery Managers, System/Business Analysts, and other subject matter experts to understand requirements and design solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in effort estimation for new projects/proposals - Producing/reviewing technical specifications and unit test cases for interfaces under development - Developing and implementing standards, procedures, and best practices for data maintenance, reconciliation, and exception management - Demonstrating technical leadership - Producing design/technical specifications - Proposing solutions and estimating projects - Guiding/mentoring juniors in developing solutions on the GFDR platform Your qualifications should include: - Overall 10-12 years of experience in technical leadership in data warehousing and Business Intelligence areas - Strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Stored Procedure experience - Experience with Source Control Tools (Clear Case preferred) - Good understanding of Data Warehouse, Datamart, and ODS concepts - Experience in UNIX and PERL scripting - Understanding of standard ETL tools such as Informatica Power Centre - Technical leadership experience in Eagle, Oracle, Unix Scripting, Perl, and scheduling tools like Autosys/Control - Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M preferred) - Strong knowledge of data modeling, data normalization, and performance optimization techniques - Ability to guide/mentor juniors in building solutions and troubleshooting - Exposure to fund accounting concepts/systems and master data management (desirable) - Experience with data distribution and access concepts for realizing a proper physical model from a conceptual one - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams - Openness to work as part of a team engaged in development and production support activities Please note that the company is in the IT/Computers-Software industry, and the role requires a B.E/B.Tech education.
