ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow HAM modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Customize and develop HAM workflows, catalog items, and automation processes.
• Develop and maintain scoped applications, custom scripts, and integrations using ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide).
• Configure and customize the CMDB to support HAM requirements, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Integrate ServiceNow HAM with third-party tools and APIs for data synchronization and automation.
• Create and manage ServiceNow dashboards, reports, and analytics for asset management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HAM functionalities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand asset lifecycle requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform version upgrades and ensure compatibility with the latest ServiceNow releases.
• Adhere to best practices in ServiceNow development and maintain system documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:

• 6-7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on ServiceNow HAM module implementations.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide, Jelly scripting, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Scoped Applications, CMDB, and MID Server.
• Expertise in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, ODBC, or custom connectors.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITAM, ITSM, or ITOM modules is a plus.

• Certifications (Preferred):

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Hardware Asset Management

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
