Job Description

As a Technical Business Analyst at Telstra, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future by conducting technical impact analysis, design reviews, and research to support mission-aligned capability teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to define clear requirements, facilitating modeling of workflows and data structures, and assisting in decomposing initiatives to support Agile planning and delivery. Your expertise will contribute to problem-solving within functional or technical domains, and you will support performance measurement efforts by enabling data-driven improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical impact analysis, design reviews, and research to support capability teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear requirements. - Facilitate modeling of workflows, data structures, and business rules. - Assist in decomposing initiatives to support Agile planning. - Contribute to problem-solving within functional or technical domains. - Support performance measurement efforts for data-driven improvements. - Drive continuous improvement and high-performing team dynamics. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 4 years of industry experience as a Technical Business Analyst. - Telecommunications domain experience is essential. - Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). - Expertise in requirement gathering, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition. - Proficient in data analysis, workflow modeling, and business rule definition. - Understanding of software engineering or product catalog domains. - Skilled in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
