We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer or Technical Architect to join our Product Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in backend architecture, proven engineering execution, and a product-first mindset. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django)
• Make architectural decisions related to infrastructure, real-time data pipelines, and platform observability
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven workflows into backend systems
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps
• Lead system design reviews and mentor junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on scalability and cloud-native systems
• Deep hands-on experience with Java, Python, and frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI
• Expertise in building microservices, event-driven architectures, and streaming pipelines
• Proficiency with databases and caching tools (Redis, PostgreSQL, PGVector)
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Familiarity with LLM features such as RAG, GPT, vector search, or chatbot architecture
• Strong understanding of system design principles

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with real-time infrastructure or agentic systems
• Exposure to AI-driven product features
• Track record of building high-performance consumer platforms from scratch
• Passion for creating meaningful and innovative technology

Additional Knowledge:

• Frontend awareness with tools like ReactJS for building internal dashboards
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices: containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), and observability (OTEL)
