Job Title: Technical Associate - Maintenance ( Fitter )

Job Purpose

To ensure equipment optimize smooth operation of all instruments.
Role and Responsibilities
Strategic:
Carrying out in-house Preventive maintenance of equipment as per schedule for proper functioning.
Operational:
Checking equipment health conditions as per standard preventive maintenance checklist.
Identify & rectify abnormalities in equipment.
Maintenance of Pump, Gear Box, Agitators, Vacuum System.
Maintenance of Cooling Towers, Air Compressor, Blowers.
Able to check critical parts in equipment.
Alignment of rotary equipment.
Bearing Replacement.
Carrying out both Minor and Major repair on various equipment including welding and fabrication tasks.
Understanding detailed drawings and schematic to assemble and repair machinery.
Taking plant round and writing observation in daily report book.
Follow safety norms while performing work.
Perform temporary hose connection for loading and unloading chemical from.
Installation of Mechanical Seal/gland in the pump.
Having knowledge of Reactor, Columns, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers.
