Position Overview

The Technical Assistant to the MD will provide high-level technical, analytical, and operational support to the Managing Director across all iRISE business verticals. The ideal candidate will be from an Engineering background (Civil preferred) with strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and the ability to compile data, create dashboards, prepare reports, and build professional presentations.

This role requires an engineer who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, excellent at documentation, and open to frequent site travel for data collection and technical assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred (Industrial Construction/Infrastructure background ideal).
• Experience: 5–12 years in construction, or technical coordination roles.
• Must be comfortable with site traveling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical & Analytical Support to MD

• Provide engineering-based insights, technical understanding, and structured analysis for the MD.
• Assist in reviewing technical documents, BOQs, equipment data, manpower deployment reports, and business-related technical inputs.
• Consolidate information from various business units and present it in a clear, structured, and decision-ready format.

2. Reporting, Analytics & Dashboarding

• Analytical skills are MUST to interpret operational, financial, manpower, and equipment data.
• Prepare dashboards, data models, charts, reports, and analytical presentations for internal and external meetings.
• Create professional presentations (PPT), summaries, management notes, and business review documents.
• Expertise in Excel (Advanced)
• Google Data Studio
• PPT making
• Compile and present insights on equipment utilization, productivity, cost trends, manpower efficiency, and operational KPIs.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with departments such as Construction, Mining, Rental Operations, Manpower Services, HR, Finance, and Admin.
• Gather and compile data, follow up on information, and ensure timely submissions to the MD.
• Assist in preparing content for stakeholder meetings, vendor discussions, and leadership reviews.

4. Site Visits & Technical Understanding

• Visit construction, mining, equipment yards, and manpower deployment sites to gather data and understand ground realities.
• Evaluate site conditions, equipment utilization, manpower deployment, and technical operations to support decision-making.

5. Documentation & Business Support

• Prepare technical notes, minutes, reports, business summaries, and structured documentation for the MD’s office.
• Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and clarity in all communications and submissions.
