Job Description
- Lead platform evaluation and selection for new product development, considering factors like scalability, cost, speed, and security.
- Compare low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems, Retool, Appian, Salesforce Platform etc.) alongside traditional full-stack approaches.
- Develop decision frameworks for choosing the right technology mix for each product use case.
- Stay up to date with emerging platforms, AI-assisted builders, automation tools, and enterprise integration trends.
- Define end-to-end solution architectures across multi-platform environments low-code, custom, and cloud-native
- Establish reference architectures for reusability, maintainability, and extensibility of solutions.
- Balance speed vs scalability trade-offs in design, ensuring product-grade outcomes.
- Create integration blueprints that combine APIs, automation flows, and AI-driven components.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate product ideas into technical feasibility plans.
- Rapidly prototype and validate new products or modules using low-code / no-code tools to accelerate time-to-market.
- Define technical roadmaps that evolve MVPs into enterprise-ready products.
- Build governance models for low-code environments change control, versioning, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish security baselines across all chosen technologies authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection
- Evaluate compliance readiness (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) of platforms and proposed solutions.
- Conduct performance and cost optimization reviews, ensuring sustainable scalability.
- Design monitoring and observability frameworks for multi-platform product environments.
- Incorporate AI-driven workflows, copilots, and automation capabilities using tools like Power Automate, n8n, Make (Integromat), or custom AI integrations (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.).
- Architect composable solutions integrating APIs, event-based triggers, and external services.
- Champion the use of AI-assisted app development to improve developer efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
- Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across diverse delivery teams.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Mentor technical leads and developers on modular design, reusability, and low-code extensibility.
- Partner with DevOps teams to establish deployment, versioning, and rollback strategies for low-code platforms
Qualifications | Experience
- Broad exposure to multiple low-code/no-code platforms such as: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate) , Mendix, OutSystems, Appian, Bubble, Retool, Webflow, Airtable Apps, Salesforce Platform / ServiceNow App Engine
- Strong foundation in cloud-native architecture (AWS / Azure / GCP) and API-first design principles.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, environment management) for low-code platforms
- Experience integrating AI/ML or analytics components into enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, OAuth2/SSO, RBAC, and platform-level data encryption.
Education and Training
- 10+ years of total experience in software engineering or architecture, with at least 3 5 years in low-code / platform evaluation / product design roles
- Demonstrated experience in solution design, platform selection, or product architecture for digital or SaaS products.
- Proven success working in cross-functional teams with product, design, and business stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred) -Architecture certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure Solution Architect), Platform-specific certifications (Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems, or Salesforce Architect), AI/Automation-related credentials (Power Automate, UiPath, AI Builder, etc.)
