Technical Architect (GA4-Datalayers) Web Data & Analytics

As a Web Data & Analytics Architect, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of global web analytics initiatives by designing scalable tracking systems, enabling high-quality data pipelines, and translating behavioral data into business impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Architect and Lead:** Own the architecture and implementation of web tracking frameworks, data layers, event models, and structured tagging solutions. - **Analytics Stack Expertise:** Drive end-to-end implementation of GA4, GTM, and custom JavaScript tracking strategies. Build robust, scalable tagging systems across web properties. - **Data Governance:** Define and enforce best practices in data accuracy, governance, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA). - **Cross-Platform Integration:** Align analytics efforts across product, marketing, and engineering teams. Connect web data to marketing platforms, CDPs, and backend systems. - **Insight Generation:** Build dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau) that go beyond reporting to translate behavior data into CRO and funnel insights. - **Tech Strategy:** Guide data instrumentation decisions, evaluate new analytics tools (Amplitude, Glassbox, etc.), and provide strategic recommendations to leadership. - **Data Infrastructure:** Optimize data layer design and maintain integrations with BigQuery or similar data warehouses. - **Problem Solving:** Proactively troubleshoot tagging issues, validate event tracking, and ensure data integrity end-to-end. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years in Web/Data Analytics, including 2+ in a technical leadership role. - Mastery in building structured event-driven data layers and scalable tagging strategies. - Strong grasp of digital attribution models, funnel analysis, and segmentation. - Deep technical understanding of web behavior tracking, CRO, and A/B testing strategies. - Excellent ability to translate technical output into clear, business-ready insights. - Confident collaborator with engineering, data science, and growth teams.
