Technical Analyst 2-Support

Role Overview: As a Support Engineer at Oracle, you will play a crucial role in delivering post-sales support and solutions to customers who use Oracle's Cloud Services. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve both non-technical and technical customer inquiries, ensuring smooth operation of their businesses by providing reliable and secure connectivity solutions. You will work closely with OCI customers to address complex network challenges and ensure seamless cloud service operations. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the technical interface to customers, OEMs, and VARs for resolving installation, maintenance, and usage-related issues of Oracle products - Provide support to customers through various means of communication, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction - Deliver and operate critical customers" connectivity services, working with peers, management, and project managers to provide solutions and escalation support - Proactively monitor and resolve customer issues, documenting key learnings and continuously improving skills through experience and training - Identify opportunities to automate responses to common operational problems and maintain compliance, configuration, and data quality levels - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, document work instructions, and be willing to work in rotational shifts to support global customers Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in Infrastructure or a related field - Proficiency in supporting network and network security technologies, including protocols like BGP, OSPF, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, VxLAN, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and SSL - Experience with routers and switches such as Cisco Nexus, Juniper MX, and Arista, firewalls like Fortinet, Juniper, and Palo Alto, and load balancers such as F5 - In-depth knowledge of routing and switching, along with the ability to troubleshoot network and security problems efficiently - Preferred skills include certifications like CCNA, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, and practical application of network protocols, security technologies, and DevOps - Scripting experience in Ansible, Python, and other relevant qualifications About Us: Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, leveraging advanced technology to address current challenges across various industries.
