Technical Advisor

Role Overview: As a Lead Process Engineer at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), you will supervise and lead a group of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and development to junior professionals. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, organizing, and controlling an important segment of an extensive engineering program. Your role will involve developing Process Design Basis and Design Philosophies, reviewing and performing Process Simulations, and guiding Process Engineers in various tasks. Your experience in process calculations, equipment designs, and facility engineering will be crucial in optimizing assets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Process Design Basis and Design Philosophies based on the scope of work - Review and perform Process Simulations, guide Process Engineers, and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required - Experience in development of PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, C&EDs, Safe charts - Proficient in routine process calculations and use of process software - Experience in Process control configurations, equipment designs, and engineering of facilities - Familiarity with Steam, Instrument air, Plant air, and various water systems design - Knowledge in offsites including tank farm, boilers, and power generation - Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and execution - Evaluate Vendor / Consultant / Licensor offers for Process Packages / Equipment - Conduct safety studies like HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and report writing - Knowledge of Pre-commissioning / Commissioning / Operations is advantageous Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 20 to 22 years of experience - Proficiency in process engineering software such as HYSYS, Flarenet, Pipenet, and Pipesim - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, refinery, Offshore, and Utilities & Offsites industries Belong.
