Job Description

As a Telesales focus specialist, your main responsibility will be handling inbound telephone sales, electronic inquiries, and order taking from new and existing clients. You may occasionally handle limited outbound tasks. You will work towards achieving team or individual quotas, primarily selling lower-tier products without requiring in-depth technical knowledge. In addition, you may also be involved in activities such as order fulfillment, database tracking, post-sales, or administrative tasks. - Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts. - Support, manage, and sell to SMB Customers within a defined geographic territory. - Drive a culture of success through product expertise and positive account management. - Provide accurate forecasting on the Sales pipeline. - Monitor the quality of all services Qualys delivers to customers through QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and identifying upsell opportunities. - Engage with channel partners and provide accurate renewal quotes. - Raise alerts for any necessary customer business or technical situations promptly. - Collaborate closely with customers to enhance the implementation/integration of Qualys products and services. - Act as a customer advocate focused on improving customer satisfaction. - Ideal candidate should have a background in security and/or networking with experience in engineering, administration, or support roles spanning 3-6 years. - General knowledge of IT security fields like Firewall, IDS, IPS, Vulnerability Management, Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance, and Audit Tools is preferred. - Familiarity with Desktop and Server operating systems, TCP/IP networking, LAN and WAN technologies, network design, and web security architectures is beneficial. - Ability to comprehend network and security infrastructure for advising on optimal usage of Qualys products on cloud platforms. - Strong technical background, excellent work ethic, and a proactive attitude are essential. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in small group settings are required. - Strong desire to be a customer-facing technical solution expert. - Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, preferably salesforce.com, for maintaining accurate customer information. - Willingness to work rotational hours to support global customers.
