As the Airborne System Software design and development specialist, your primary objective will be to enhance and expand the platform for various WAN technologies (such as ATG, ATG4, Ku, 2Ku, etc.) through the creation and maintenance of scalable, modular, fault-tolerant, and adaptable software for the Intelsat Airborne Broadband System. This will involve utilizing Embedded Linux solutions on a designated platform. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and system test reviews. Collaboration with the Systems Engineering & Architecture teams will be essential to grasp and address the evolving project requirements. Additionally, you will engage with the Product Management team to understand the product roadmap and revenue generation strategies, as well as with the operations teams to identify and resolve operational challenges that impact business continuity.
