They are also the specialists on email campaign set up, building and testing the campaign workflows pre-deployment. They are an instrumental part of the production process and the team relies on their experience in HTML and attention to detail to ensure the final product is ready for deployment.
Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Validate email campaign setup
- Configuring campaign setup in HTML based email marketing platform (Google tool: Gamma)
- Coordinating pre-deployment approvals
- Schedule campaigns for delivery
- Conduct pre-deployment QA
- QA correct rendering across physical devices, browsers, email clients
- Perform QA on both coded templates and ad-hoc assets
- Troubleshoot errors found in QA and triage to appropriate teammates if necessary
- Generating prototypes and proofs for review by CSM/PMM
- They are also responsible for sending proofs and prototypes to CSM for review, which they might pass on to the marketer.
- QA rendering of localization variants
- QA localization of languages across email templates and modules once translation files have been received from the localization team, validate correct rendering in all language variants.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a top-notch Email QA Process
- Regularly reviewing the QA checklists to ensure it encompasses changes in business requirements
- Write and create post-mortems after failures in the QA processes lead to user facing errors
- Suggest and implement improvements to the QA process after post-mortems
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in marketing automation tools
- 3+ years of Testing, HTML and/or CSS experience
- Experience with digital marketing quality assurance is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail oriented and solution-driven
- Able to adapt to new tools and processes quickly
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects
