Description
As an Expert at Alysian, a fast-growing boutique advisor specializing in technology and digital-enabled value creation for large-cap Private Equity firms and their global portfolio companies, you will play a pivotal role in the Tech M&A Advisory practice. Your main responsibilities will include leading or supporting IT due diligence, technology strategy development, and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Alysian leaders, PE Operating Partners, and the CIOs/IT Leadership teams at portfolio companies to execute transformative IT-enabled value creation strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate technology risk and opportunity pre-sign to support commercial deal shaping in IT Due Diligence & Deal Advisory - Lead the assessment of target technology environments, including infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and team maturity - Develop robust IT due diligence reports and executive presentations, mapping risks, costs, TSA constructs, and potential value levers - Enable clean tech separation and ensure Day 1 operational readiness with clear TSA governance in Carve-Out Strategy & Execution - Drive the creation of a comprehensive IT separation blueprint and lead the IT track of the Separation Management Office (SMO) - Assure transformation programs are governed effectively in Transformation Assurance & Program Recovery - Lead spend diagnostics and benchmarking initiatives to uncover inefficiencies in IT Cost Optimization & Procurement Leadership **Qualifications:** - MBA from premier Business Schools or recognized degree from leading international universities, with a Post-Graduate degree or Professional Certifications **Work Experience:** - 5+ years of experience in technology-driven M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and technology strategy development - 5+ years of experience in technology-driven transformation including IT/ Digital/ Tech Strategy development, Large IT Program Management, Vendor Contract/ SoW Review for large turnkey programs **Requirements:** - Consulting Experience Mandatory: minimum 8 years of experience in consulting or advisory roles - Technology Experience: Hands-on experience with IT systems integration, project management, and system delivery - PE Experience: Experience in large or mid-cap PEs either as an investment or operating professional, consultant in the PE sector or role in a PE-backed company Your role at Alysian will involve operating at a rapid pace, taking full ownership of deliverables, and consistently seeking solutions that deliver value aligned with Private Equity expectations. You will need to confidently engage with all levels of a client's organization, challenge established thinking, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
