Tech Lead – Backend Heavy (Node.js / NestJS / AWS)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Tech Lead – Backend Heavy (Node.js / NestJS / AWS). The Tech Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js and NestJS. Daily tasks include overseeing a team of developers, collaborating with front-end and design teams, ensuring code quality through reviews, and optimizing performance of the backend systems. The role also involves managing deployments through AWS and maintaining server reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with backend development using Node.js and NestJS
• Proficiency in managing cloud services, particularly AWS
• Strong understanding of database management and optimization
• Experience with agile methodologies and leading development teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and experience in cross-team collaboration
• Experience with server reliability and security best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
