Tech Lead – Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex backend systems and APIs
• Mentor and manage a small team of backend developers, conducting regular code reviews and technical evaluations
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps to align technical implementation with business goals
• Define and enforce backend coding standards, design principles, and best practices
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of backend services
• Handle database design, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Take ownership of deployment, monitoring, and system reliability in production environments
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
