Description
As an experienced SAP PMO Manager at EY, your role will involve leading the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP initiatives to ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing project methodologies, governance, and best practices for successful project outcomes. **Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:** - Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and policies to standardize project management practices. - Oversee the portfolio of SAP projects, ensuring proper resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling. - Lead project planning sessions and provide guidance on SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. - Monitor and report on the progress of SAP projects, including risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication. - Ensure timely delivery of SAP projects within scope, budget, and quality standards. - Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and external vendors. - Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and team members. - Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and contribute to the knowledge base. - Act as a liaison between the executive team and project managers to ensure strategic alignment and clear communication. **Experience:** - 8-11 years of relevant experience in SAP PMO. - Successfully completed at least three end-to-end implementations. - Proven experience in managing an SAP PMO or leading complex SAP projects. - Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile), and best practices. - Experience in client-facing delivery roles with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships. **Competencies / Skills:** - Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of SAP modules and landscapes. - Knowledge of change management principles and practices. - Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools. - Strong customer handling skills, relationship building, and mentorship abilities. - Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents. - Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborative team player with the ability to independently drive key deliverables. **Education:** - Graduate from a reputed educational institution. - PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable. - Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
