Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Teamcenter Administration and Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA), Teamcenter Integration for CATIA (TCIC), and Active Workspace Client (AWC). The role involves system administration, user support, integration management, issue resolution, and environment maintenance across global PLM landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Teamcenter Administration & Support:

  • Monitor and maintain Teamcenter UA environments (2-tier, 4-tier).
  • Perform user and access management, workflow administration, and preference configurations.
  • Manage server performance, logs, and backup/recovery operations.
  • Assist in environment setup, deployment, cloning, patching, and upgrades.
  • Provide L2/L3 level support and issue resolution for Teamcenter client/server-side issues.

TCIC (Teamcenter Integration for CATIA):

  • Support CATIATeamcenter integration and troubleshoot TCIC-related issues.
  • Resolve problems in check-in/check-out, version control, and metadata management.
  • Support CAD users with performance and data consistency issues.
  • Collaborate with CAD/PLM support teams to maintain seamless integration workflows.

AWC (Active Workspace Client):

  • Provide support and maintenance for AWC deployments.
  • Manage AWC customizations, configurations (XRT, stylesheets), and UI troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with navigation, performance issues, and UI/UX problems.
  • Coordinate AWC version upgrades and compatibility checks.

General Support:

  • Act as a liaison between users, engineering teams, and IT for PLM-related support.
  • Document and resolve tickets through ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
  • Contribute to knowledge base, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Participate in change management, testing, and rollout activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Teamcenter UA administration and support.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Teamcenter ITK/RAC basics
  • BMIDE configurations
  • CAD integrations – specifically TCIC (Teamcenter–CATIA Integration)
  • AWC (Active Workspace) setup and support
  • Experience in:
  • Teamcenter workflows, data model, and user management
  • Monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance tuning
  • Multi-environment support (dev/test/prod)
  • Good scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl, or Python) is a plus.
  • Understanding of database (Oracle/SQL Server), Web Server (Tomcat/WebLogic), and OS (Linux/Windows) administration.
