Team Manager Control & Protection Operation - HVDC

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. As a (Job Title), your responsibilities will include: - Resource planning medium to long term and allocation based on the forecast of tenders & projects in collaboration with the global organization. - Ensuring the KPI of the department such as on-time delivery, COPQ, and productivity. - Ensuring the achievement of financial budget. - Reviewing and approving techno-economic offerings by your line in a tender/project, assessing risks and opportunities. - Running routine reviews & follow-ups with the project team, other cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. - Recruiting personnel as per HC budget. - Being accountable for the team as per HIATCHI ENERGY Group compliance, Integrity, Health & Safety. - Being responsible for personnel assessments / people's review, target setting for the direct reports. - Identifying people's development areas and implementing plans. - Identifying key competence areas and having succession planning. - Participating in units strategic work and developing local strategy. - Working out future scope expansion and competence development. - Driving operation development for the local organization. - Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. The ideal candidate will possess the following background: - Bachelor's degree in engineering in Electrical. - Previous experience as a Line Manager/Team Leader for at least 2 years with a team size of at least 20 members. - Basic knowledge in HVDC/FACTS/Substation is preferred. - Knowledge in Control & Protection design. - Knowledge in the end-to-end process of control & protection starting from cubicle design to factory test. - Knowledge in basics of SCADA, HMI, Cybersecurity of Substation is preferred. - Sound knowledge of the English language.
