Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UDB DB2 Database Administrator with 5 years of expertise to manage, maintain, and optimize our DB2 databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of DB2 databases, as well as providing guidance on best practices and emerging trends in database management. Key Responsibilities Database Management: Install, configure, and upgrade DB2 databases on Unix/Linux/Windows platforms. Perform regular database maintenance, including backups, restores, and recovery processes. Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning strategies. Security and Compliance: Ensure database security by implementing access controls and monitoring. Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance.
