Team Leader - Safety

Designation : Team Leader Safety Location : Bidadi (Bangalore) Education : Diploma in fire and safety Salary : 1 LPA to 3.5 LPA Job Type : Full time  Key roles and responsibilities Policy and planning: Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and policies to align with regulatory requirements. Inspections and audits: Conduct routine on-site inspections to identify unsafe conditions or practices, and ensure equipment is in good working order. Risk assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend preventative measures. Training and education: Develop and conduct training programs on safety practices, procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Incident investigation: Investigate all accidents, near misses, and occupational diseases, and prepare reports with corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Compliance: Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the workplace complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety laws and updates. Emergency preparedness: Coordinate and conduct emergency response drills, such as fire and evacuation drills. Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, training sessions, incidents, and other safety-related activities. PPE management: Ensure that all employees are using the correct PPE and monitor its inventory. Employee engagement: Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging with employees, promoting safety committees, and organizing safety awareness activities.
