Job Description

As a Team Leader in Repair Solutions (REP) at Siemens Energy, your role will involve leading a team of 10+ repair engineers to ensure that service & repair centers operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include coordinating key repair activities such as digital inspection jackets (DIJ), processing repair reports, managing general maintenance task lists (GMTL), and overseeing laser scanning data processing. Additionally, you will mentor your team, manage schedules, drive operational efficiency, and cultivate a strong safety culture while facilitating smooth communication for internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting operational agility, technical excellence, and a culture of innovation. Your impact as a Team Leader in Repair Solutions (REP) at Siemens Energy will include: - Collaborating closely with Repair Operations Service Center Heads, CSM, and Repair Engineers to deliver DIJ scope with expected quality - Leading a team of repair engineers to provide timely resolution of technical repairs to global service centers - Strategically developing REP with a focus on enhancing team capabilities and service quality across different regions - Being accountable for key performance metrics within REP, including DIJ-GMTL OTD & Quality, Laser Scanning Data Processing, and operational efficiency - Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and digital tools to deliver new value and support to Service Centers Repair Activities, with a specific focus on AI tools - Creating clear, concise, and accurate repair work instructions for various products/equipments - Providing technical support to service/repair centers regarding laser scanning projects, data interpretation, and issue troubleshooting - Establishing a visible career development structure within the Repairs Solutions function to ensure staff development and retention - Leading by example in promoting a zero-harm culture within Repairs Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in repair and maintenance activities of compressors and/or steam turbines - Proven leadership and team management experience - Proficiency in laser scanning software (e.g., PolyWorks or similar) and CAD (NX, AutoCAD) - Experience in technical writing, specifically in developing repair work instructions or similar documentation - Effective leadership, communication skills, customer orientation, and strategic thinking - Collaboration and innovative thinking skills - In-depth understanding of financial and business operating models - Willingness to travel locally and globally as required - Willingness to work in all 3 shifts as demanded by the business Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry division focuses on decarbonizing the industrial sector by increasing electrification and efficiency.
