Job Description

Role Objective

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a

    team of up to 10 Business Development Executives / Counsellors

    .
  • Ensure the

    team achieves and overachieves their collective sales and enrolment targets

    .
  • Focus on

    process optimization, training, and performance management

    rather than individual sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily/weekly huddles, monitor team performance, and provide actionable guidance.
  • Train team members in

    lead handling, counselling, objection resolution, and closing techniques

    .
  • Track team KPIs: lead follow-ups, counselling sessions conducted, and conversion rates.
  • Motivate and coach the team to consistently

    exceed team targets

    .
  • Implement best practices, streamline processes, and ensure CRM compliance.
  • Liaise with Marketing & Student Success teams to maximize lead quality and conversions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in

    team management

    (minimum 2 years), preferably in

    B2C/EdTech sales

    .
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication (Hindi & English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset to monitor team performance and optimize processes.
  • Target-driven mentality but focused on

    team performance, not individual targets

    .
