Join our innovative team at BMWTechWorks India within the Cluster Digital Product Engineering, supporting BMW s vehicle development in the CAD Unit.

You will take on a dual role as Component Responsible (CoRe) for Geometrical Integration in Vertical Dynamics and as SE-Team Lead for Air Pipes for a specific vehicle model (e. g. , Indian supplier).

In the Geometrical Integration role, you will manage tasks such as independent geometric integration, controlling data deliveries, design space modeling, visualization of cable routing, and preparation of component approvals.

As SE-Team Lead for Air Pipes, you will be responsible for guiding the component through to series production, including managing the supplier relationship and ensuring timely and high-quality data deliveries. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

• Strong engineering background in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Solid understanding of the vehicle development process

• Experience in supplier management and escalation processes

Must have technical skill

• Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams
• Experienced with CATIA for geometric design and modeling
• Familiarity with SAP and IPS Cable systems
• Knowledge of BMW-specific tools and systems such as NextOne, Applaus-App, iRAM, EFA, Cobra, gAMS, Freigabeleitstand, Matrix, Prisma, MyWorkplace, and Fundus

Good to have Technical skills

• Experience in 3D concept design, package and tolerance investigations
• Ability to prepare release documentation and support virtual car modeling
• Knowledge of damper cable laying and air pipe installation
• Experience in coordinating and managing suppliers to ensure series production readiness
