Team Lead - Reinforcement detailer

Role & responsibilities

As a Reinforcement detailer you must produce high quality, accurate reinforcing steel placement drawings and perform other related duties for the fabrication and placement of reinforcing steel bars and related accessories in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards and established practices and procedures

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in modeling structures and working in a BIM360 environment working in a construction planning office
• Create detailed drawings of rebar placement for construction projects
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with projectspecifications and codes
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues
• Calculate and estimate materials needed for each project
• Work in coordination with architecture
• Preparation of sheets,sections and annotations
• Knowledge in Building and repairing families
• Ensure timely completion of projects and meet project deadlines.

Education Qualification & Skills Required:

• 4+ years of experience in modeling structures and working in a BIM360 environment.

• B.Sc. / B. Tech in civil engineering,structural engineering oriented.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Ability to use software and tools for rebar detailing, such as AutoCAD or Revit

• Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to rebar detailing, such as ACI and CRSI

• Experience with reinforcing steel fabrication, installation, and construction practices

• Attention to detail and accuracy in creating rebar shop drawings

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
