Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate preparation, review, and delivery of daily treasury reports before cut-off time.
  • Prepare and review capital adequacy reports, including own funds, Tier 1 and Tier 2 capital, and capital ratios, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/3.1.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing liquidity reports for the Group (with two banking entities), ensuring submission of regulatory returns such as PRA110, LCR, ALMM, and NSFR on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to relevant authorities (e.g., PRA, FCA, BOE).
  • Perform and reconcile daily derivative movements and review month-end journals for treasury and derivative products.
  • Submission of regulatory returns (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) with high accuracy and control.
  • Perform roll-forward checks, reconciliations, and analytical reviews, including impact analysis for adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain quality control checks (maker/checker controls) and ensure error-free submission to UK reviewers.
  • Respond to queries from head office, subsidiaries, auditors (internal & external), and regulatory bodies promptly.
  • Support policy/SOP updates, maintain trackers/flowcharts, and assist in smooth month/quarter-end closures.
  • Test and support system upgrades (e.g., Suade, FCA reporting software) in UAT before live deployment.
  • Interim & yearend support to statutory reporting disclosures for Treasury related products.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager/Supervisor.

    integration and

    Power BI

    ; experience with tools like

    Alteryx

    is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Basel 3 & 3.1, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Professional demeanour, confidence, and a proactive approach using common sense and initiative.
