Team Lead - Quality

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for details. He will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required standards for quality control. He may also be required to maintain to ensure test equipment, prepare test data and identify areas for quality control improvement.

To ensure success as a quality technican, he should have a strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician can effectively monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

Role & responsibilities

• Implement the Control Plan methodology in the Shop floor towards ensuring right first stime and with a Zero-defect mind set.
• Maintaining quality inspection reports and first level failure analysis should
• To maintain periodic calibration in In process equipments and monitor the control conditions.
• Reporting quality abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Conduct the period training in the bottom level.
• Monitor, Control and improve In process quality & report quality trends.
• Monitor the SC and CC parameters capability trends and improvement plan.
• Maintain the trials and validation of new material, new source, new process capabilities in applicable process.
• Follow the accreditation to ISO IATF 16949 standard requirements.
• Follow the periodic inspections as per the Procedures, control plan, Sops
• Data Management is Key for Analysis Ensure collection of data from source and Analyse with an aim to being in Reduced Variation in manufacturing.
• Implementation of improvement projects (Kaizens/ Poka-Yoke /ECRs/ QCC facilitation)
• Maintain the culture of continuous improvement in the Process.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

Experience

• Diploma/BE/MSc in Electrical/Mechanical/ Chemical/ Chemist.
• Min 4-6 years of experience in the Teamwork.
• Preferred industry: Battery/ Automobile/ Chemical
• Hands on Experience in Quality tools, SPC, FMEA, 8D is preferred.
• Hands on experiences on vernier caliper, Micrometer, Dial gauge, Height gauge, Profile projectors, OMM, Slip gauges.

Functional

• Specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g., ISO 9001, IATF16949, 14001
• Inspection plans and Control plans for all the related tests in the product realization process.
• Familiar with SPC, Quality tools.
• Familiar with the battery cell evaluation process.
