Field Service Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

1.Responsible for performance of installed base of Electro-Motive locomotives to insure their performance and reliability.

2.Represent company in contacting customers, with a defined territory regarding product service difficulties, causes, and corrections.

3.Lead a team of technicians in maintenance of locomotives as per AMC contracts

JOB DUTIES:

1.Maintaining inventory details of AMC materials.

2.Preparation of joint notes for AMC contracts in coordination with sheds at the end of every quarter.

3.Submission of AMC invoices as per the contract.

4.Provides technical advice to customers regarding proper facilities, tooling, maintenance practices, and operation of product to maximize reliability and performance.

5.Assists customers with investigating and correcting product difficulties.

6.Administers unit warranty policies and procedure

7.Develop technical best practices

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

B.E. / B. Tech. (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation / Mechanical) with 1-2 years OR Diploma (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation / Mechanical) with 2-4 OR ITI (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation / Mechanical) with 5-7 years of experience in locomotive services and maintenance.
