Job Title: Team Lead (BGV) BPO

Background Verification

Location:

ey Responsibilities in BGV Roles

1. Documentation Management

Collect Candidate Documents:

ID Proofs (Aadhar, PAN, Passport)
Educational Certificates
Previous Employment Proofs (Offer letters, Relieving letters, Pay slips)
Address Proofs

Verify Authenticity:

Cross-check documents for discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company and legal standards.

Maintain Records:

Update verification status in HRMS or internal systems.
Store scanned copies securely for audit purposes.

2. Coordination with Organizations

Previous Employers:

Contact HR teams of previous companies to confirm employment details (DOJ, DOL, designation, salary).

Educational Institutions:

Verify degree authenticity through university portals or direct communication.

Government Databases:

Check criminal records, identity validation, and address verification.

3. Vendor Management

Third-Party BGV Vendors:

Share candidate details and required documents with vendors.
Track vendor progress and ensure timely completion.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs):

Monitor vendor compliance with agreed timelines and quality standards.

Escalation Handling:

Resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies with vendors.

4. Reporting & Compliance

Prepare daily/weekly reports on verification status.
Ensure adherence to ISO standards, GDPR, and company policies.
Handle confidential data with strict security measures.

Skills Needed for This Role

Strong communication (for follow-ups with organizations/vendors).
Knowledge of BGV tools and portals (e.g., AUTH Bridge, HireRight, On Grid).
Attention to detail and time management.
