Team Lead Bank Loans

Location:

Vikhroli, Mumbai

Shift:

UK Shift (1:00 PM 10:00 PM)

Role Overview

The Team Lead Bank Loans will be responsible for overseeing and managing bank loan operations, including loan syndication activities and related processes. The role requires strong experience in loan servicing and an understanding of the full product lifecycle for bank loan products.

Key Responsibilities

Process and review loan servicing transactions such as repayments, drawdowns, interest payments, fees, advances, PIK, etc.
Review documents related to CLOs and manage deal setup in the system.
Review and process trades and related economics; prepare daily funding requests.
Perform various activities at each level of the CLO deal.
Prepare and monitor Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Metrics on a daily basis.
Assist with daily loan operations, trading, and resolving breaks with the middle office team.
Review monthly trustee reports and quarterly waterfalls.
Prepare and maintain analyses to assess CCC bucket assets, defaulted obligations, and distressed assets daily.
Assist with the effective date tie-out process between CLO Manager, Middle Office, Trustee, and other stakeholders.
Prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports.
Interact with prime brokers for resolution of fund queries.
Assist team members in break resolution.
Support the manager and team in meeting SLAs.
Train new joiners.

Requirements

MBA (Finance) with 5+ years of loan operations experience; experience in Fund Administration or Hedge Fund Operations preferred.
Strong knowledge of the product lifecycle of bank loan products.
Understanding of CLOs is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and its functions.
Knowledge of WSO, Geneva, ClearPar, or Markit preferred.
Strong business writing skills.
