Teaching Specialist

The Associate Gap Content & Curriculum Support Specialist applies content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital and print instructional materials across products, subject areas, and grade levels. You will provide content and standards expertise in creating effective instructional/assessment materials. Your responsibilities also include analyzing standards and curriculum requirements to develop project content-planning documents, writing and editing educational materials, and ensuring consistent application of instructional design guidelines. You will collaborate with various teams, vendors, and contractors to manage development efforts effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Additionally, you will update existing content development documentation, conduct content-related research, and contribute to projects across multiple products. As needed, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for support tickets, triage curriculum-specific client issues, and provide 2nd tier support for customers. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in education or a specific subject area like Mathematics, Science, History/Social Studies, or English. Teaching or curriculum development experience is preferred. Strong writing, proofreading, communication, and presentation skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools is required. You should possess strong research and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Being self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible in managing internal expectations is crucial for success in this role.,
