Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for senior classes.
Teach and explain advanced concepts such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
Design lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
Evaluate and assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
Provide remedial support to students who need additional help.
Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
Maintain discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
Collaborate with other faculty members to plan academic activities.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics for senior classes (Grades 8–12).
Strong command of mathematical concepts with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse learners.
Prior experience teaching students with special needs (desirable but not mandatory).
