Tax Senior

As a Tax Senior at our company in Bangalore, you will play a vital role in establishing strong client relationships by understanding their businesses and providing assistance to ensure their success. Your responsibilities will include engaging in client communication, handling tax compliance matters, preparing tax returns, identifying and resolving tax issues, staying updated on tax laws, meeting chargeable hour goals, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to training and development initiatives. Your primary duties will involve maintaining regular communication with clients to update them on progress and resolve queries, assisting in tax compliance tasks such as audits and notices, preparing tax accrual workpapers and complex tax returns, identifying tax issues and collaborating with team members to find solutions, staying informed about tax law updates, meeting annual chargeable hour goals, and providing mentorship and guidance to tax staff. Additionally, you will assist in training sessions for team members and ensure compliance with accounting principles and best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field, with a CPA certification or progress toward it being advantageous. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of accounting procedures and GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines are essential for this position.
