Tax Compliance Specialist

Role Overview: As a Tax Compliance Specialist at TMF Group, your main responsibility will be to ensure the compliance of TMF's operations in India with local tax laws. You will work closely with the Group Tax team and the Internal Finance team to identify tax risks and opportunities, monitor changes in tax laws, and support with tax compliance and reporting obligations. Key Responsibilities: - Support with CIT, GST, TDS, TP, and other local tax compliance and reporting obligations - Assist with the quarterly tax provisioning process and annual return-to-provision calculation - Ensure that tax policies are followed and standard tax procedures are implemented - Identify tax risks and opportunities, and support with mitigating these risks - Assist with tax audits or enquiries from local tax authorities - Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure that relevant changes are applied properly Key Requirements: - Master or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Tax - Minimum of 3 years of experience with at least 1 year in tax advisory or compliance - Strong numerical and analytical skills - Knowledge of tax accounting principles and financial systems - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills - Ability to take responsibility Additional Company Details: TMF Group offers pathways for career development, allowing you to work with colleagues and clients worldwide on challenging projects.
