Tax Analyst - APAC

As a Tax Analyst at Salesforce, based in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring tax compliance for various APAC entities. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in all aspects of direct tax-related statutory compliances, such as corporate tax return filings and tax audits for APAC entities. - Collaborating with internal teams like Finance, Legal, and Operations to gather required information for tax compliance. - Liaising with external stakeholders including tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to address tax-related matters effectively. - Managing and optimizing WHT credit-related claims, customer approvals, and vendor-related WHT compliance. - Assisting in audits, assessments, and litigation before judicial authorities. - Preparing indirect tax returns, annual returns, and necessary tax reconciliations. - Gradually transitioning compliance-related filings to in-house management. - Implementing process improvements and automation to enhance APAC tax reporting and compliance. - Creating and updating user guides and standard operating procedures for clarity and consistency. Qualifications Required: - Preferred qualification in CA or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience. - Strong exposure to corporate income tax compliances, litigation management, transfer pricing, and indirect tax. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Experience in working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department.
