Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on

  HP Nonstop / Tandem systems

  .
• Write and maintain programs using

  COBOL

  and

  TACL

  .
• Work with

  Tandem database systems

  such as

  Escribe

  or

  SQLMP

  for data storage and retrieval.
• Handle

  batch processing

  and

  online transaction processing (OLTP)

  systems.
• Utilize

  Tandem utilities

  like

  Pathway, TMF, and Guardian

  for application support and monitoring.
• Perform

  system performance tuning and optimization

  to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  
• Document processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
  

Technical Skills:

Primary Skills:

• Strong experience with

  Tandem / HP Nonstop systems

• Proficiency in

  COBOL

  and

  TACL

• Knowledge of

  Escribe

  or

  SQLMP

  databases
• Familiarity with

  Pathway, TMF, and Guardian

• Experience in

  batch processing

  and

  OLTP systems

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in

  insurance claims handling

  or related domains is a plus
