Roles & responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing candidates through

  job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, campus recruitment, and industry-specific platforms.

• Conduct

  initial screening calls

  to check candidate interest, availability, qualifications, and salary expectations.

• Review CVs for

  technical keywords

  common in oil & gas roles (e.g., rig operations, reservoir studies, HSE certifications)

• Assist in conducting

  basic HR interviews

  (communication, culture fit).

• Post job openings on

  company website, job portals, and social media.

• Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate status updates, and documentation

• Maintain clear communication with candidates from application to onboarding.

• Understand manpower requirements from operations, drilling, HSE, or project departments.

• Coordinate interview panels and provide updates on recruitment progress

• Help prepare

  offer letters, joining formalities, employee files, and orientation schedules

• Support HR in promoting the company during

  campus drives, job fairs, and social media.

• Learn common

  oil & gas job categories, certifications, and terminology.

• Stay updated on industry recruitment trends and safety requirements.

Key Skills for an Oil & Gas HR Recruiter (Fresher)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic understanding of oil & gas job roles

• Good CV screening and interviewing skills

• Time management and coordination

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and recruitment tools (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
