Tableau Lead

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst position is a senior-level role focused on implementing new or updated application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. The primary goal is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. We are looking for an experienced Tableau developer with expertise in Tableau, Data Modeling, Visualization to join the Market Risk team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions using Tableau. As a Tableau Lead with a minimum of 10 to 13 years of experience, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau. Your responsibilities will include working closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translating them into effective Tableau dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will manage a small team of Tableau developers, develop interactive dashboards, study existing business requirements, collaborate with business teams, optimize Tableau performance, provide technical guidance, and stay updated with Tableau best practices and industry trends. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau - Manage a small team of Tableau developers - Develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports - Study and brainstorm on existing business requirements - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements - Optimize Tableau performance by fine-tuning queries and dashboard designs - Provide technical guidance to Tableau developers and end-users - Stay up-to-date with Tableau best practices and industry trends - Drive the vision for reporting and analytics capability using Tableau - Support requirements prioritization and user acceptance testing - Ensure design capabilities adhere to all Citi Risk and Control requirements Experience / Knowledge / Skills: - 10 to 13 years of experience in a related field - Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online - Strong understanding of data visualization principles - Hands-on knowledge of SQL Fundamentals and relational databases - Experience in data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of Agile methodology and project management Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline This job description provides an overview of the role.
